ISPT Future Shopping Centres

The Purpose of this project is to identify areas in which technology and user experience strategies can improve the current shopping experience for customers, streamline sales for retailers, and increase consumer traffic and property value for shopping centres.
The Blender Food Ordering System is a concept that utilises touch screen interfaces with integrated pay pass technology to display a food ordering system directly from a given table or kiosk. Blender will allow for streamlined ordering, table navigation, table linking for group payment as well as table reservation technology NFC air to unlock reserved tables. Blender uses an advanced interactive design where the user can browse through a virtual food court menu. Users have the option to order from different stores and once ordered the retailers would deliver the food to the customer’s table.
This diagram above shows the current process of how customers uses the foodcourt,  and below compares it to the new process.
